My name is Arsenia Clark and I am the founder of Gestures of Love Community Enrichment Corporation (Gestures of Love).  Helping people has always been natural for me. I enjoy community service and learning sign language / deaf culture. My past experiences include Owner/Operator of a Charter Bus Company (Promise Land Tours and G-K Travels), substitute teacher and Para-Professional on an Elementary level (Special Education). Having a deaf cousin, sparked my interest from childhood in learning to sign.

 As the years progressed, I joined a church with a deaf ministry and met Belinda Johnson (Deaf). It was at this time I was able to fulfill my childhood curiosity to learn to Sign. Even though there was an obvious communication gap, Belinda and I had a connection. She desired to teach me and I desired to learn. Here we are, 30+ years later, we're still friends and I am continually learning as I share my knowledge of Signing with others. I am a witness of the positive impact the hearing and deaf can experience together when deafness is not viewed/treated as an obstacle that cannot be overcome. 

Education and a willingness to learn to communicate is the key. Our experiences together has increased my passion for learning and sharing sign language as a gesture of love aiding relationship building among those who are sometimes overlooked; which lead me to establish Gestures of Love. Gestures of Love's Mission is to bridge the communication gap between the deaf and hearing by educating and teaching the beautiful language of Sign.
